A Night to Remember
By Holly Hinks
Monsieur Cain, a wealthy Victorian aristocrat, is known for his dinner parties. So, when eight of his acquaintances receive invitations to one such party, who are they to deny a pleasant evening full of food, drink and entertainment - the newest and most popular entertainment being the ritual of a séance. Calling the dead to the land of the living is all the rage and is nothing more than a bit of fun. Except, that is, when the dead have a problem with you. Then it can get messy. Every guest at this dinner party has a secret, ones which they swore would be taken to the grave. But when the grave comes to you, it’s quite hard for secrets to remain under wraps.“A Night to Remember” is a mystery play, set in 1887, that asks you to suspend your disbelief as you watch the guests’ secrets be revealed in the most ghostly of ways.
